Season beef and onions with salt and pepper and zesty Italian dressing mix. Next, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to your slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until beef is cooked through and tender.
Mix cold water and cornstarch then add to the slow cooker. Allow to cook for 30 more minutes. Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
To make sure the beef is tender and not chewy we suggest cooking on low for the 7 hours. If you are running low on time you can cook this recipe on high for 4-5 hours instead.
