Servings: 12 sliders
- 1 pound chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
- 1 cup wing sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
- 1/3 cup blue cheese dressing
- 12 slider buns
- 3/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
Place chicken breast in the slow cooker. In a small mixing bowl whisk together wing sauce, garlic powder, and dressing. Pour over chicken in the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours. Cook until chicken is tender and can be shredded with a fork.
Shred chicken and serve on a slider bun topped with blue cheese crumbles. *If you don't like blue cheese you can top with shredded cheese or add more dressing to the top.
- I love using my slow cooker, but if you are in a rush you can use a rotisserie chicken to speed things up. Shred your rotisserie chicken and mix it all up with the remaining ingredients. Make your sliders and you are good to go!
- If you do not have Blue Cheese Crumbles you can definitely use Blue Cheese Dressing to add the coolness to the sliders.
- If you need some additional dressing to cool off your Buffalo Chicken, top with some Ranch Dressing.
