I've always been a lover of spicy food and buffalo chicken has been a favorite of mine. These Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sliders are so tender and full of flavor. They make the perfect game day recipe and perfect for a big crowd. I have made this for many of my husband's football festivities, and his friends love them!

How to make Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sliders:

As with all my slow cooker recipes, while they take time to cook, everything else is still super easy! Place all your ingredients in the slow cooker except the buns and the cheese crumbles, and allow it to cook for roughly 6 hours. Once cooked shred it and load up your buns and top with the cheese.

    Ingredients:

    • Chicken Breast (boneless and skinless)
    • Wing Sauce
    • Garlic Powder
    • Blue Cheese Dressing
    • Slider Buns
    • Blue Cheese Crumbles

    Directions:

Step one: Place chicken breast in the slow cooker. In a small mixing bowl whisk together wing sauce, garlic powder, and dressing. Pour over chicken in the slow cooker.

adding chicken breasts and buffalo sauce to the slow cooker

Step two: Cook until chicken is tender and can be shredded with a fork.

Step three: Shred chicken and serve on a slider bun topped with blue cheese crumbles.

Tips for making Buffalo Chicken Sliders:

    1. I love using my slow cooker, but if you are in a rush you can use a rotisserie chicken to speed things up. Shred your rotisserie chicken and mix it all up with the remaining ingredients. Make your sliders and you are good to go!
    2. If you do not have Blue Cheese Crumbles you can definitely use Blue Cheese Dressing to add the coolness to the sliders.
    3. If you need some additional dressing to cool off your Buffalo Chicken, top with some Ranch Dressing.

Yes you can use frozen chicken. It just would need more time to cook.

I made these for dinner and they were delicious! I subbed ranch for blue cheese, and decided to make these into buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwiches with cheddar cheese and ranch.

Hi. I need to make about 3 times (36 sliders) as much, can I triple everything in this recipe and have it still come out correctly?

      Thank you,
      Kat

Yes it should still work in the slow cooker just fine. Just give it an extra time as needed to cook through.

Can you substitute the bleu cheese that's in the slow cooker with ranch?

I LOVE buffalo style anything. But if I could, I would have these sliders for dinner every night-they are really that good!
