Ingredients

  • 32 oz Frozen Southern Style Hash Brown Potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Frozen Minced Onions
  • 2 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (melted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (divided)

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients except for 1 cup of cheese into your slow cooker and mix together well then place the lid on.
  • Cook on low for 4 hours. Top with remaining cheese and place the lid back on then allow to cook for 20 more minutes.

How to store leftover casserole:
Store the casserole in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. It should last in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
You can also freeze this casserole once it is done. Transfer the casserole as best as you can into an air-tight freezer container. It can stay frozen for up to 3 months. When you are ready to serve it, allow it thaw for 24 hours before reheating. Reheat in the oven at 350 degrees until it is hot throughout.
