- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 cup Onion (diced)
- 1 cup bell pepper (diced)
- 1 tablespoon Minced garlic
- 28 oz Canned crushed tomatoes
- 28 oz Canned petite diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
Start by heating your olive oil in a skillet and cooking your beef. Cook on medium heat and add minced onions, green peppers, and garlic. Cook until brown.
Drain the beefs excess fat and place in slow cooker. Add crushed tomato, diced tomato, and all seasonings
Allow to cook on low for up to 7-8 hours. Stir and then serve on warm noodles!
How do I thicken my spaghetti sauce?
If you like a thicker spaghetti sauce here is the trick. Add in a can of tomato paste. It will help thicken your recipe. Now if you want a chunkier spaghetti sauce dice up some more peppers and onions and add them into the slow cooker!
