Tips for a great Banana Pudding:

  1. Use ripe bananas, but ones without brown spots. Yellow bananas are the best for this recipe.
  2. Chilling in the refrigerator is essential for this recipe since things will get to room temperature by the time it is all put together.

Can you make this ahead of time?

This recipe is best served fresh within a few hours of assembling it. If you do need to make the pudding mix early, store in the refrigerator until ready to assemble. The Nilla Wafers tend to get soggy, so this recipe is best stored for up to 3 days.
