Can this fruit salad be made in advance?
This fruit salad can definitely be made ahead of time. You just should not mix the whipped topping and yogurt in with the fruit until you are ready to serve it.
Keep the prepared fruit in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Sprinkle some lemon juice on the apple chunks to keep them from turning brown. Ideally you should only prepare this ahead of time about 24-48 hours.

Can this fruit salad be stored after it’s made?
This fruit salad can be stored but up to 2 or 3 days after it’s been mixed together.
This really should be eaten the day it is made as it is best then.
If you need to store the leftover fruit salad, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. I do not recommend freezing this dish. Drain any water that settles before serving.
