How to make Peppermint Brownies:

Step one: Get started by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Then prepare a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.

  • Tip: Adding parchment paper will help you to remove your entire brownie from the dish after baking and slice easily

Step two: In a stand mixer or with a hand electric mixer beat your butter and sugar until creamy.

Step three: Next add in your egg one at a time then vanilla and peppermint extract.

Step four: Add melted chocolate chips and mix again until well combined.

Step five: Next mix in flour then cocoa powder until combined.

Step six: Last fold in chocolate chips then place in your prepared baking dish.

Step seven: Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes before topping with cream cheese and serving.
