If you need an easy dessert that you can throw together in minutes, this Chocolate Dump Cake is one of my go-to recipes. It’s rich, chocolatey, and made with just a few simple ingredients—all mixed right in one dish.

This is the kind of dessert I make when I want something homemade but don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. No complicated steps, no extra bowls—just a simple dessert that always turns out.

Whether you’re making dessert for your family, bringing something to share, or just want something sweet without the extra work, this Chocolate Dump Cake is one you’ll come back to again and again.

How to make Chocolate Dump Cake:

Dump Cakes are very easy to make. As the name suggests you just dump the ingredients into the cake pan, and bake. Dump the cake mix and pudding mix into the cake pan. Pour the milk over the cake mix and pudding mix and whisk together. Fold in the chocolate chips to the batter, then pour the melted butter over the cake batter. Do not mix the melted butter into the batter. It will form a nice crust during baking. Serve and enjoy!

Step Three – Melt the butter, then pour over cake. (I skip mixing this in to allow a butter crust on top, but you can mix it in if you prefer). Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips evenly over the top.
