How to make Deviled Egg Pasta Salad:
Deviled Egg Macaroni Salad or Pasta Salad is very easy to make. Start by cooking your noodles and eggs.
When the noodles are done, you make the pasta salad. Mix together the ingredients for the dressing. Mix it together with the noodles. Dice and cube your hard-boiled eggs and gently mix them in to the pasta. Chill and serve.
Ingredient Notes:
- Elbow Macaroni – cooked according to package instructions.
- Mayonnaise – I used Duke’s Mayonnaise for this recipe, but you can use your favorite brand.
- Sour Cream – I used a light sour cream for this recipe.
- Mustard – a key ingredient in Deviled Eggs.
- White Vinegar – makes the dressing tangy.
- Paprika – one of the best spices for deviled eggs.
- Salt and Pepper
- Hard-boiled Eggs – peeled, diced and chopped.
Directions:
Step One: Start by cooking your elbow macaroni according to package directions.
Drain and then set aside.
Recipe Tip
When making a pasta salad, you do want to rinse your noodles in cold water before continuing with making the salad.
Step Two: Next place the cooked pasta in a large mixing bowl.
Then add in your mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, and white vinegar.
Mix well until pasta is evenly coated then season with paprika, salt and pepper.
Recipe Tip
I like to mix my dressing ingredients in a separate bowl before adding to the noodles. It ensures everything is mixed together well.
Step Three: Fold in chopped and peeled hard boiled eggs.
Place in the fridge to chill for an hour then serve.
