Milkshakes are a classic dessert everyone loves. Oreos are a classic cookie everyone loves. Putting the two together just seems right!

This Oreo Milkshake is the perfect easy to make dessert or snack. Top the milkshake off with some whipped cream, a full Oreo and a maraschino cherry.

How to make an Oreo Milkshake:

Milkshakes are super easy to make. All you have to do is throw your ingredients into a blender and then blend until you have the consistency you want.

If you want a thicker milkshake add some extra Oreos for more chunks.

If you like a thinner milkshake blend well and add some extra milk.

Ingredient Notes:

  • Vanilla Ice Cream – Use your favorite brand and flavor of Vanilla Ice Cream.
  • Milk – I used skim milk for the milkshakes.
  • Oreo Cookies – regular Oreos work best for this recipe.
  • Optional for topping – Whipped Cream, Maraschino Cherries and extra Oreos!

Directions:

Step One – Scoop ice cream into a blender.

Step Two – Add 6-8 cookies depending on your texture preference.

ice cream and Oreos in the blender.

Then pour in your milk.

Recipe Tip

Use whatever milk you want. I used skim because it’s what we usually drink already.

Unfortunately, this is a drink that you need to enjoy when you make it.

It will melt and no longer be “frozen” pretty quickly.

If you try to refreeze it, it will turn into ice and not keep the milkshake texture you want.
