How to make a Peppermint Milkshake:

ingredients for the Peppermint Milkshake.

Ingredient Notes:

  • Vanilla Ice Cream – use your favorite style and brand of Vanilla Ice Cream.
  • Milk – I used skim milk for this recipe.
  • Crushed Candy Canes – I used classic red and white candy canes.
  • Peppermint Extract – This adds a little extra peppermint flavor.
  • Optional: Whipped cream and more crushed candy cane for topping.

Directions:

Step One: Start by placing your ice cream, milk, crushed candy cane, and peppermint extract into a blender.

Recipe Tip

Start small with the peppermint. Blend and then add more peppermint to taste. It is a strong flavor, so adding too much may overdue the peppermint.

Step Two: Blend until smooth and then add more milk as needed.

Recipe Tip

Do not over add the milk, as the milk controls the consistency and thickness of the milkshake.
