Chocolate and Peanut Butter should just always be eaten together. These Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge are so simple to make and so yummy.

The perfect bite-size sweet treat. This is perfect for the holiday season, or just a sweet dessert any time of year!

    Easy Dessert

Fudge is one of the easiest treats to make. It tastes amazing and is always a hit. T

his year I brought this Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge to our Family Christmas party and it was a hit.

No need telling everyone I made it all with little work and absolutely no baking, heck I didn't use the stove at all.

    Ingredients

This recipe is simple to make. You just need to make a layer of peanut butter and then top it with the chocolate. Here is what you need for the recipe.

    Peanut Butter Fudge Layer:

    • Butter
    • Creamy Peanut Butter
    • Vanilla extract
    • Powdered Sugar

    Chocolate Fudge Layer:

    • Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
    • Butter
    • Sweetened Condensed Milk

    Directions:

Step 1: Start by adding the butter, peanut butter, vanilla extract in a microwave-safe bowl to prepare the peanut butter layer.

Microwave for 60-90 seconds. Then stir until well combined and smooth.

Step 2: Add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.

Place in a prepared casserole dish (I lined my dish with parchment paper for easy removal).

Place in the fridge while you prepare your chocolate fudge.

Tip: Make sure the sugar is mixed in well. If needed you may need warm up the sugar mixture if you cannot get it to blend well.

adding sugar and placing fudge into the pan

Step 3: Combine chocolate chips, butter, and sweetened condensed milk for the chocolate layer in a microwave-safe bowl.

Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring and place into back into the microwave until fully melted.

Remove dish from the fridge and pour on the chocolate layer.

Step 4: Allow chilling in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Once chilled Cut into bite-size squares and serve.

    Melting Tips

You could use the stovetop and melt the two layers separately in a pot but I took the easy way out and just popped it in the microwave for a few seconds.

If you are making this on the stovetop the directions wouldn't change at all.

All you would change is mixing and melting in a saucepan, not a microwave-safe bowl.

I use 1/4 cup peanut butter instead of the sweetened condensed milk it works great and I don’t have half used cans of sweetened condensed milk hanging around lol. Great recipe!

What size dish do you use to pour combined fudge into? Seems like it would be too much fudge for an 8”x 8” or 9”x 9” casserole dish.
