These baked Ranch Chicken breasts are a great entree to serve. They go great with almost any side.

Baked in the oven they are moist and crispy at the same time because of the mayo coating with the breading.

The flavor is great, and your whole family will love these chicken breasts.

I love to serve mine with a salad, mashed potatoes, or another vegetable. Try some of the sides I have down below with this ranch chicken recipe.

I made a salad when I cooked these and my Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes. Let me know what you think!

How to make Ranch Chicken breasts:

This recipe is really easy to make. Get your chicken breasts ready, and then prepare the breadcrumbs and ranch seasoning mix.

Coat the chicken in the mayonnaise and then dredge them in the breadcrumb mix.

Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and then bake in the oven. Serve with your sides and enjoy!

Ingredient Notes:

  • Chicken Breasts – boneless and skinless.
  • Mayonnaise
  • Dry Ranch Seasoning
  • Unseasoned Breadcrumbs – using a seasoned breadcrumb will alter the flavor a little but not by much. You can use seasoned breadcrumbs if you have them.

Can I use frozen chicken breasts?

For this recipe, I would suggest using fresh or thawed chicken.

Using frozen can change your cooking time and the breadcrumbs will not stick to them as well.

Also, when baking, as the frozen chicken thaws out it could cause the breadcrumbs to run off.

Try this variation for the Ranch Chicken:

Add 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese to the breadcrumbs. The parmesan adds a cheesy but strong flavor to the chicken.

Can you use Ranch Dressing Mix instead of Ranch Seasoning?

Yes, an alternative to Ranch Seasoning is a packet of Ranch Dressing Mix.

The ingredients vary slightly as does the nutritional information, but you can use this for Ranch Chicken.

I would still use the same amount of Ranch Dressing mix as Ranch seasoning.

What sides go well with Ranch Chicken Breasts:

Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes – These Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes are perfectly cooked with a crispy outside and soft tender inside, this will be your new favorite way to make sweet potatoes.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes – These Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes are super easy to make and taste great, plus no boiling beforehand.

Cream Corn – This Cream Corn is a classic side dish recipe. Just like my grandma would make, it’s perfectly creamy and tastes amazing.
