Ranch Chicken baked on sheet pan.

This baked Ranch Chicken breasts are a great entree to serve. They go great with almost any side. Baked in the oven they are moist and crispy at the same time because of the mayo coating with the breading. The flavor is great, and your whole family will love these chicken breasts.

I love to serve mine with a salad, mashed potatoes, or another vegetable. Try some of these sides with this ranch chicken recipe.

I made a salad when I cooked these and my Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes. Let me know what you think!

How to make Ranch Chicken breasts:

This recipe is really easy to make. Get your chicken breasts ready, and then prepare the breadcrumbs and ranch seasoning mix.

Coat the chicken in the mayonnaise and then dredge them in the breadcrumb mix.

Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and then bake in the oven. Serve with your sides and enjoy!

    Ingredients:

    • Chicken Breasts - boneless and skinless.
    • Mayonnaise
    • Dry Ranch Seasoning
    • Unseasoned Breadcrumbs - using a seasoned breadcrumb will alter the flavor a little but not by much. You can use seasoned breadcrumbs if you have them.

Step Four - Place chicken breast into bowl with mayonnaise and coat it on all sides then allow any excess to drip off before moving it to your next bowl.

Step Five - Place mayonnaise coated chicken breast into your bowl with ranch breadcrumb bowl. Evenly coat chicken with breadcrumbs.

dredging the chicken in the seasoning.

Step Six - Place chicken on your prepared baking sheet and repeat with each chicken breast until they are all coated.

Step Seven - Bake for 23-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and reached a safe temperature (165 degrees F).

    • Tip: Cooking time can vary depending on the size and thickness of your chicken.

Can I use frozen chicken breast?

For this recipe, I would suggest using fresh or thawed chicken.

Using frozen can change your cooking time and the breadcrumbs will not stick to them as well.

Also, when baking, as the frozen chicken thaws out it could cause the breadcrumbs to run off.

What sides go well with Ranch Chicken Breasts:

Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes - These Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes are perfectly cooked with a crispy outside and soft tender inside, this will be your new favorite way to make sweet potatoes.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes - Ready to try my favorite side dish made in your slow cooker! These Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes are super easy to make and taste great, plus no boiling beforehand.

Cream Corn - This Cream Corn is a classic side dish recipe. Just like my grandma would make, it's perfectly creamy and tastes amazing.
