This Spicy Taco Soup is made with a kick. With ground beef, salsa, corn, beans, and jalapeños to give it some big flavor. This recipe is simple to make and a favorite around here.
I’m sure you know by now but taco soup is hands down of my of favorite recipes. It’s also all my readers favorite!
This time I made a version that has a little extra kick. I love spicy food so this was one was a special treat for me since the kids didn’t have any.
It’s also easily made into a slow cooker recipe so keep scrolling!
Instructions:
Step one: Get started by cooking ad crumbling your ground beef in a large pot cook. Once your ground beef is cooked you can drain fat as needed and then return to stove top.
Step two: Next add in corn, salsa, jalapeños, black beans, and taco seasoning to the pot with ground beef and mix together
Step three: Then add in your broth and allow to cook on medium heat for 25-30 minutes.
- Optional: Serve with sour cream, shredded cheese, tortilla chips, and fresh diced cilantro.
Slow Cooker Instructions:
This recipe is easily made in the slow cooker.
Start by cooking your ground beef then drain fat and place the cooked and crumbled beef in your slow cooker.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
Serve then top with your favorite taco toppings.

- 15 oz Corn
- 2 cups Salsa
- 1/2 cup Jalapeños, (canned and diced)
- 15 oz Black beans
- 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning
- 2 cups Beef broth
Instructions

- Add corn, salsa, jalapeños, black beans, and taco seasoning to the pot with ground beef and mix together.
- Add broth and allow to cook on medium heat for 25-30 minutes.

I found your recipe on Pinterest and I couldn’t wait to try it. It was an awesome pantry recipe as I had everything but the sriracha. I only had one can of corn on hand but I also had a can of creamed corn so I added that. Hopefully it turns out well. It smells delicious and I can’t wait to try it. Perfect for a snowy Chicago day!
