Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats

Do you struggle with breakfast? Not for the kids for yourself? I hope I’m not the only one. My kids eat a great breakfast each morning but somehow I skip myself. I’m usually finishing up last minute things while they eat so we can be heading out the door on time or finishing up my makeup while I nurse the baby. I somehow always forget to feed myself breakfast. That is until my stomach is growling and I find myself pulling into a drive-thru for breakfast…

Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats

I got smart and starting making these overnight oats. I actually made enough for the week one day and didn’t have to worry about breakfast at all. You can customize them any way you would enjoy and just place them in your fridge overnight (or up to 1 week). You can eat them chilled or toss them in the microwave. Any way your heart desires. I heated mine in the morning and then added more milk before eating.

How to make Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats:

Step one: Place your rolled oats in a 16 oz mason jar. Next add in the maple syrup, bananas, and strawberries and last pour in milk.

Step two: Place the lid on and shake well. You want to make sure all your oats are wet with your milk. Now keep it in the fridge overnight.

Step three: Stir and add more milk as needed before serving

Here are a few more oatmeal recipes I think you are going to love:

Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats: The only thing that goes with bananas, as well as strawberries, is a big spoon full of peanut butter. This recipe is delicious.

Double Chocolate Oatmeal Muffin: Yes double chocolate! I don’t think I need to say much more than that 😉 You have to try this one out.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie: Don’t worry, you will find no raisins in these cookies! Even though I do like the classic version with the raisins I have to say I prefer the chocolate chips best.
