Mashed potatoes have always been a favorite of mine. They also bring me lots of memories and one pretty embarrassing one that you can read about on my World's Best Mashed Potatoes post.

These Cheddar Ranch Mashed Potatoes are made with cream cheese and cheddar cheese then seasoned with my favorite, ranch seasoning!

How to Make Cheddar Ranch Mashed Potatoes:

Step one: Place peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot. Cover with water and allow to cook on medium/high until it reaches a boil. Reduce heat and cook until potatoes are tender. Drain water, turn off the heat, and return to pot.

Step two: Add butter and milk and start mashing. Add cubed cream cheese and mash until melted and smooth. Add milk as needed to get the consistency you want.

Step three: Add all seasonings (ranch, pepper, salt, and garlic) and use a hand mixer to whip potatoes until smooth.

Step four: Last fold in cheese until melted. Serve with topped with diced green onions.
