These perfect Cheddar Ranch Mashed Potatoes are super creamy and smooth. They are a great side dish with your next steak or pork chop! Everyone will love them!
Mashed potatoes have always been a favorite of mine. They also bring me lots of memories and one pretty embarrassing one that you can read about on my World’s Best Mashed Potatoes post. These Cheddar Ranch Mashed Potatoes are made with cream cheese and cheddar cheese then seasoned with my favorite, ranch seasoning! I could put ranch seasoning on just about anything and I have done it a lot. Just go search ranch in my search bar and you will see!
Ready to start cooking these Cheddar Ranch Mashed Potatoes. Start by placing peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot. Cover with water and allow to cook until potatoes are tender. Now Drain water, turn off the heat, and return to pot. Add butter and milk and start mashing. Add cubed cream cheese (this is what will make them super creamy!) and mash until melted and smooth. Now add more milk as needed to get the consistency you want. Add all seasonings and use a hand mixer to whip potatoes until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of cheese until melted. Serve with topped with remaining shredded cheese and diced green onions. Yum!! This is one of my favorites.
What can I serve with these Cheddar Ranch Mashed Potatoes?
I love this recipe because I think it goes well with just about any meal. I served these with my baked BBQ chicken legs and a tossed salad. You can also try them with BBQ ranch pulled pork, crispy buffalo chicken (this is the best!), or my hubby’s all-time favorite lemon pepper chicken.
