This Grinch Punch is a holiday twist to a classic sherbet-based punch. It is refreshing and tart because of the lime sherbet and pineapple juice. Line the rim with some red sprinkles for a little more festive fun!

We love How the Grinch Stole Christmas, especially the remake that came out a few years ago. My youngest has it on his tablet and watches it all the time, all year long.

We always try to have a Grinch day at the house, and this Grinch Punch is one of the things we make for it.

Super easy to make everyone will enjoy this punch. Made with Sprite, Lime Sherbet, and Pineapple juice this drink is refreshing and surprisingly tart. Serve and enjoy!

    How to make Grinch Punch:

This punch is very easy to make. All you do is get a large punch bowl or pitcher. Add your sherbet, pineapple juice, and then the Sprite. Mix them all together.

It's ok if the sherbet isn't fully melted when you are done mixing. Keep in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it.

To rim your glasses with the red sanding sugar, dip the edge of the glass in a shallow bowl of water and then roll or dip the glass in the sugar on a plate.

Pour the Grinch Punch into the glass and enjoy!

    Ingredients:

    • Lemon-line soda - Sprite or 7-Up works best.
    • Pineapple Juice
    • Lime Sherbet
    • Red Sanding Sugar or Red Sprinkles - I used red sanding sugar but if you can't find that a small fine sprinkle would work.

    ingredients for Grinch Punch.

    Directions:

Step One - Add the sherbet to the punch bowl. Then add the pineapple juice.

Step One continued - Add the Sprite to the punch bowl.

Step Two - Place in the fridge to chill until ready to serve.

    mixing together Grinch punch.

Optional: Dip the rim of your glass in water then into the red sanding sugar or red sprinkles.

You can also serve with just adding red sprinkles to the top.

How to sugar the rim of a glass:

Step One - Pour your sugar in a shallow bowl or plate.

Step Two - Pour water into a shallow bowl to dip the glasses in.

Step Three - Dip the glasses in the water first, making sure all the edges touch the water.

Step Four - Dip or roll the wet edge of the glasses in the sugar. Shake off any excess sugar.

Try these variations to the Grinch Punch:

    1. Hawaiian Punch - Replace the pineapple juice with green Hawaiian Punch. This will give you a brighter green color, and still keep the fruity taste.
    2. Ginger Ale - This is a great alternative to Sprite. It will give the punch a slightly different taste due to the ginger flavor, but will still be just as refreshing.
