Lasagna Stuffed Shells in a casserole dish

I love stuffed shells! It’s such a classic recipe. This time I stuffed it with my husbands favorite thing, lasagna. This recipe was a winner in my house and one I think you are going to love.

How to make Lasagna Stuffed Shells:

Step one: Get started with this recipe by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F. Next prepare a 9×13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

Step two: Next cook your jumbo pasta shells according to directions until cooked to al dente. Drain and then rinse with cold water and set aside.

  • Tip: Since you will be stuffing then baking these make sure to not over cook your pasta.

Step three: In a  skillet heat your oil then saute onions. Then add ground beef and cook and crumble until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper then drain.

  • Tip: I used olive oil but any oil will work.

Step four: Now mix your ricotta cheese with 1 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, and Italian seasoning.

  1. This was delicious! We made it exactly as called for in the recipe, with the exception of substituting onion powder for onion pieces. Our picky family loved it!

  2. I’m making this now I doubled and added fresh parsley. I’m making one batch for daycare one for family. Can I fresh the daycare one. The noodles will have been cooked just not put in oven. Or should I bake it than freeze it? I’m making now so not sure you will see this in time
