This Parmesan Crusted Chicken is the perfect way to dress up your chicken with some new flavors. It's coated with bread crumbs, parmesan, then seasoned with parsley.

    Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Chicken breast is served a lot in my house. It's easy on the wallet, simple to make, and taste amazing. I baked mine on a baking sheet but this would work great as one pan meal. Toss on some raw veggies and diced potatoes to cook along with it. You will need to dip the chicken in three separate shallow bowls. One with flour, then into the eggs, and last the parmesan bread crumbs. It's so simple to make and you are going to love it.

How to make Parmesan Crusted Chicken:

Step one: Start by pounding chicken to flatten it. I placed my chicken in a large freezer bag and used a rolling pin to flatten my chicken. I prefer to do this when I am breading large chicken breast and find that they cook evenly and stay moist.

Step two: Preheat your oven and then prepare a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

Step three: Next mix your bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and then place in a shallow bowl. Whisked together eggs in a separate shallow bowl. In the last shallow bowl whisk together flour, salt, and pepper.

Step four: To coat your chicken breast place your chicken in the flour first, then into the eggs allow the extra to drip off, and last the bread crumbs and cheese. Place prepared chicken on your baking sheet and repeat until all chicken is coated.

Step five: Spray chicken heavily with nonstick cooking spray. If you would rather you can also brush oil over your chicken.

    Baking time:

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and at a safe temperature.

Here are a few more of my favorite chicken breast recipes:

Baked BBQ Chicken Breast: This is my go-to chicken breast recipe. My kids are love BBQ so this one is a winner with the entire family.

Cheesy Ranch Ranch Chicken: This chicken is coated in ranch and then shredded cheese, it's amazing!

Baked Chicken Breast: This one is my basic chicken breast that goes with any meal and another one of my favorites.

Loved it! Used Panko and threw in some Italian seasoning along with the parsley. Used the olive oil cooking spray at the end. Had garlic and oil spaghetti and roasted cauliflower. It was a great meal. Thanks.

Hi Shae, this is for one chicken. 1 chicken breast can range from 200-300 calories (check out https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/calories-in-chicken#breast) depending on the size when served plain. This can vary depending on the size of the chicken you are using. Hope that helps!
