    Pepper Jack Cheese Ball

    This Pepper Jack Cheese Ball is one if my favorite appetizer recipes. It's so simple to make and a real crowd pleaser.

    I husband is a self proclaimed cheese ball connoisseur. It's his favorite party food and he's picky about which one he's likes. He told me this Pepper Jack Cheese Ball was the BEST cheese ball I have ever made. I have to say that is a win in my books. 

    How to make Pepper Jack Cheese Ball:

    Step one: Start by placing 1 ½ shredded pepper jack cheese and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese with cream cheese, lime juice, onion powder, and diced cilantro in a mixing bowl.

    Step two: Now mix all thee ingredients well with clean hands and form into a ball.

    Step three: Next place that remaining ¼ shredded pepper jack cheese and ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese on a plate. Then roll and pat in cheese around the cheeseball.

    Serving Options:

    Serve this cheese ball with crackers, raw veggies like celery or carrots, or even tortilla chips.

    Make Ahead Directions:

    Once cheese ball is complete place it in an air tight container. Keep refrigerated for 5-6 days.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 ¾ cups shredded pepper jack cheese (divided)
    • 1 ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
    • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
    • 1 lime (juiced)
    • ½ teaspoon onion powder
    • ¼ cup cilantro (chopped)

    Instructions
     

    • In a mixing bowl add 1 ½ shredded pepper jack cheese and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese with cream cheese, lime juice, onion powder, and diced cilantro.
    • Mix well with clean hands and form into a ball.
    • Place remaining ¼ shredded pepper jack cheese and ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese on a plate. Roll and pat in cheese around the cheeseball. Serve on crackers.
