Pigs in a Blanket are a fun lunch my kids request a lot. These are a great lunch or dinner for the kids, or a fun party food! They are pretty easy to make and go great with my homemade Honey Mustard dipping sauce. Or if your kids are like my kids just give them ketchup.

How to Make Pigs in a Blanket:

These are pretty easy to make. Start by preparing your crescent roll dough for the “blankets.” Place your cocktail weenies on the larger side of the dough and roll up. Place on your baking sheet and then brush on the melted butter. Bake in the oven and while they are baking make the Honey Mustard dipping sauce. Once they are done, serve warm with the Honey Mustard.

Step Three – Using a pizza cutter or knife cut three lines into the dough dividing it into four equal parts. Then cut triangles into each part. You should end up with about 7-8 triangles per section, do not worry if you do not have perfect triangles.

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce:

We love serving these with a homemade dipping sauce. It’s simple to make and taste amazing. You can skip this and just buy a dipping sauce from the store, but if you have the time, I suggest trying this sauce.

  2. You can make these up to one day ahead of time. Store uncooked in the refrigerator or just reheat before serving.
  3. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
  4. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months. Just pull them out when you are ready to serve so they can thaw.
