Buttery and crispy Ritz Chicken Tenders. This recipe is so simple to make with so much flavor, it's one you will want to try.

Ritz Chicken Tenders on a baking sheet

This recipe is one of my favorites and one my kids are obsessed with!

The idea for this recipe started with my Ritz Chicken Casserole. This recipe is a favorite with my kids and they are always asking me to make it. After making these Ritz Chicken Tenders they quickly became a favorite as well.

How to make Ritz Chicken Tenders:

Step one: Get started by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray or some oil and set aside.

Step two: Now prepare your breading. Add Ritz crackers with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to a large shallow bowl. Mix to combine.

Step three: In a separate shallow bowl whisk eggs.

Step four: Then place chicken tenders in egg and allow excess to drip off.

Step five: Once your chicken has been in the egg you can now bread them. Then add chicken tenders to your seasoned crackers. Once coated place in your prepared dish. Repeat with each chicken breast.

Step six: Brush each chicken with melted butter.

    • Tip: You can also use a small amount of oil in this step. You want to brush your chicken tenders to make sure everything is moist and your breading does not become dry.

    Baking Directions:

Step seven: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

    Other Cooking Directions:

Since this recipe became such a hit with our family we tried it in several different ways. You can also make it with chicken breast. To try that recipe check out my recipe for Ritz Cracker Chicken Breast.

Can these tenders be coated, then frozen & then cooked later? I am looking for a recipe to help a friend with small children that she can take out of the freezer & pop in the oven without her having to do the prep work.

This is a great chicken tender recipe. I made it for the first time tonight. We love tenders but frying them is so messy. I loved that they were crispy and tender and the flavor was so good. Thank you for the wonderful recipe.
