    Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup

    Chicken noodle soup is my favorite winter recipe and a must for cold season! This Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup is easy to make and taste great!

    Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup in the slow cooker

    Nothing beats a homemade chicken soup when you are feeling under the weather. This recipe is one of my favorites and I love keeping the ingredients on hand during the wintertime. Plus it's all made in the slow cooker which means less work for you.

    What goes in Chicken Noodle Soup:

    You can add just about any of your favorite veggies to this soup. I've even used leftover peas and corn for it. We usually add,

    • Onions
    • Carrots
    • Celery
    • Garlic

    How to Season Chicken Noodle Soup:

    I use a few different seasonings for this recipe. You can season it to taste. Here is what I season my recipe with.

    • thyme
    • rosemary
    • celery seed
    • salt
    • pepper

    How to make Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup

    Step one: Add all ingredients except egg noodles to your slow cooker. Cook for 6-7 hours on low or for 4-5 hours on high.

    Step two: Remove chicken, place in a bowl then use forks to shred and return to the slow cooker. Add egg noodles and allow to cook for 10 more minutes.

    Step three: Once noodled are cooked and tender serve.

    What noodles to use:

    You can use any pasta that you like for this recipe. My favorite is the egg noddles or spaghetti.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 pound chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
    • 1 cup onion (chopped)
    • 1 ½ cups celery (chopped)
    • 2 cups carrots (peeled and chopped)
    • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
    • 1 cup water
    • 6 cups chicken broth
    • 1 teaspoon thyme
    • ½ teaspoon rosemary
    • ¼ teaspoon celery seed
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon pepper
    • 2 cups egg noodles

    Instructions
