It’s so full of flavor and a recipe the entire family loved. I served mine over rice with cilantro as a garnish. My kids ate it with rice and salsa and loved it.

How to make Slow Cooker Lemon Lime Chili Chicken:

Step one: Add chicken to the slow cooker.

Step two: Mix all remaining ingredients together with the pour over chicken in slow cooker. 

Step three: Cook until chicken is cooked through.

Serving Options:

I served my lemon-lime chili chicken over rice and garnished with cilantro.

You can also dice it to the top on a salad or shred it and add it to tacos.

How long to cook lemon lime chili chicken:

You can cook this recipe in the slow cooker on high or low. For low cook for  5-6 hours. On high cook for 3-4 hours.

Ingredients 

  • 2 pounds chicken breast, (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 juiced lemon
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth

Instructions 

  • Add chicken to the slow cooker. Mix all remaining ingredients together with the pour over chicken in slow cooker. 
  • Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through. 
    Optional: serve on rice and garnished with cilantro.
