This Sparkling Berry Lemonade is so refreshing and makes the best recipe for summer. We love serving it at backyard BBQs or sip on it by the pool.

During the summer I love making fun and refreshing drinks to serve during a grill-out or BBQ. This Sparkling Berry Lemonade is so simple to make and it's so full of flavor.

    Ingredients for Recipe:

    • White sugar
    • Water
    • Fresh mint (optional)
    • Lemon juice plus 1 lemon sliced
    • Berries: blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries.
    • Sparkling water

How to make Sparkling Berry Lemonade:

Step one: First start by placing water, sugar, and fresh mint in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir allowing sugar to dissolve in the water.

Step two: Once the sugar is dissolved in your water go ahead and remove it from the heat and set it aside. If you are using the mint cover and allow it to steep for 15 minutes before removing the mint.

    • Tip: Adding mint is optional so if you don't like mint just skip it. I love making it both with and without.

Step three: Place ¼ cup blackberries, ¼ cup raspberries, and ¼ cup strawberries in a bowl and gently mash. You can use a mortar and pestle, like pictures, or use a wooden spoon to muddle and mash your fruit.

    FAQ and Tips:

Can I skip the sparkly water? Yes, you can skip the sparkling water and just mix it in normal drinking water instead.

Frozen or Fresh Fruit: You can use either frozen or fresh fruit for this recipe. If using frozen allow it to be thawed so you can easily mash it.
