I love this classic Tuna Salad recipe. It's the best lunch recipe and easy to make and done in 15 minutes or less. Make a sandwich or add it on top of a salad.
This Tuna Salad is a classic. It's so simple to make and one of my favorite lunch recipes. It is perfect for sandwiches or to top a salad. My husband loves to add a piece of Swiss or Cheddar Cheese on his tuna salad sandwiches.Â
How to make Tuna Salad:
This recipe is so easy to make and can easily be made to taste. Drain your tuna, then add all the ingredients to a large mixing bow and mix together well.
Ingredients:
To make this tuna salad you will need:
Tuna: I used a can of tuna in water. I prefer to use chuck light tuna but you could also use Albacore tuna.
Celery and Onion: Make sure to finely dice your celery and onion so they are easy to eat.
Mayonnaise: I love to use Duke's mayonnaise and you can use whatever your favorite mayonnaise is.
Mustard: I use yellow mustard for this recipe but you could use brown or Dijon.
Salt and Pepper: Add salt and pepper to taste or skip totally. You can mix everything above and then add the salt and pepper to taste after.
Directions:
Step one: Place all ingredients in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
Step two: You can serve this on crackers, salad, or bread.
Storing Tuna Salad:
Tuna salad can be placed in the fridge right away in an air tight container for up to 3 days.
