These Baked Crispy Buffalo Wings are baked in the oven and perfectly crispy. I pat them with flour and then bake until crispy. Last just brush on your favorite buffalo wing sauce and serve.
Buffalo chicken is my favorite anything! Any sports game or party I love serving these up. We actually served these for New Years eve and have been for the past several years. I usually set out a bunch of appetizers and snacks and we watch movies and play games. Even though no one actually stays up until midnight! We usually watch an early countdown then head to bed.
No matter when you are serving them I think you are going to love how simple these wings are to make. For this recipe I did use Frank's Red Hot Wing sauce but any sauce you like will work for this recipe.
Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wings:
To make sure your wings are crispy you want to start with thawed chicken. Once it's thawed you can rinse it and pat it dry using a paper towel. The less water on your chicken the better.
I used a baking rack to make sure my chicken wings didn't sit in any of the water that did come off the chicken when baking. If you don't have a baking rack then I would just suggest you flip the chicken when baking.
Making Baked Crispy Buffalo Wings:
Step one: Start by preheating your oven and then prepare a baking sheet with alumni foil and a baking rack.
Step two: Rinse your chicken and then pat chicken wings dry and set aside. Whisk together flour with salt and pepper then place in a shallow bowl and roll each chicken wing in the flour.
Step three: Next place prepared chicken onto a your baking rack. Once all chicken is coated with flour spray them all with your cooking spray.
Step four: Place in the oven and bake until fully cooked. Brush buffalo sauce on your fully cooked wings and allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
