Homemade salsa is one if my favorite things in the world. This simple Blender Salsa is just like the restaurant and is the perfect side for taco night.
You know how much I love tacos and making homemade salsa is always the perfect side for any taco dish.
Salsa Ingredients
Here are the ingredients that you need to make homemade salsa.
- Petite diced tomatoes: make sure to drain these well.
- Red onion: I prefer red onion but other options can be used.
- Garlic
- Cilantro
- Green Chilis
- Salt
- Lime
Directions
Step one: Add all ingredients in order listed above to your blender.
Step two: Blend until well combined and you have the desires consistency. Pour to serve.
Tips and FAQ
How to store salsa? This salsa will for up to 1 week in an air tight container in the fridge. You can also freeze in a freezer safe container or bag for up to 4 months.
Tip: Make sure not to over do it with blending. It should just take a few seconds to blend.
Add in as needed: You can always start small and add more to taste. If you don't like a lot of salt or garlic you can always add less then taste before adding more.

- 1 cup red onion (diced)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ⅓ cup cilantro (diced)
- 3 oz green chilies (diced)
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 2 limes
