Tips for amazing Rice Krispie Treats!!
- Use a fresh un-opened bag of marshmallows to make the treats. This will result in the softest, gooiest texture.
- I recommend using gel food coloring. Gel food colors are more concentrated than their liquid counterparts resulting in a more vibrant color with less product.
- You can insert a popsicle stick or sturdy paper straw into the bottom of the yellow layer after the treats are cut to create Rice Krispie pops.
How to store Rice Krispie Treats:
Store your leftover Rice Krispies in an air-tight storage container or a Ziplock bag. Store them on the counter, not in the refrigerator.
They should last 5 to 7 days before starting to get hard.
These Rice Krispie Treats are super fun to make and enjoy. If you love or hate Candy Corn, you probably still will like this recipe.
Bring them to your next Fall or Halloween Party you are going to. Feel free to double or triple the batch if you need to!
