Chocolate cookies with chocolate candies! I mean does it get much better than that. These cookies are so simple to make and they taste amazing.

How to make Chocolate Blossom Cookies:

Step one: Get started by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F. Then prepare a baking sheet with nonstick spray or parchment paper.

Step two: Next cream your butter, brown sugar, and ½ cup sugars together in a stand mixer or in a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer.

    adding in brown sugar

You will use the rest of the sugar later so make sure to only use ½ a cup now. You can place the rest of the sugar on a plate for later to roll your cookie dough in.

Step three: Once the butter and sugar has become creamy and light go ahead and add in your egg, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder.

Step four: Next mix in unsweetened coco powder and melted semi-sweet chocolate chips.

    • Tip: I melt my chips in the microwave. You can place them in for 30 seconds of a time siring between until melted

Step five: Last, slowly add in flour about ½ cup at a time until fully mixed. Allow to chill for 10-15 minutes or until dough is no longer sticky and can be handled.

Step six: Now scoop and roll out your cookie dough balls. Then roll the dough in remaining ¼ cup sugar. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Step seven: Place the unwrapped chocolate kiss in the center of each cooking and move to a cooling rack.

Step eight: Allow to cool so your chocolate can reset then enjoy!
