    Double Chocolate M&M Cookies

    These are one of my favorite cookies! They taste amazing and have a wonderful pop of color. You have to try these Double Chocolate M&M Cookies.

    I know, I had you at double chocolate. Well I took it to another level with chocolate covered candies. I know I use the word favorite a lot. I can't help it! I mean all cookies are honestly my favorite 😉 This one though is really my all time favorite or at least in the top 3.     Double Chocolate M&M Cookies

    Double Chocolate M&M Cookies

    • Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt to a mixing bowl and whisk together.
    • In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar together. Add in melted chocolate and continue to beat until combined. Last beat in eggs and vanilla extract
    • Slowing add in flour mix to the stand mixer pausing to scrap the sides often.
    • Fold in mini baking M&M's. Wrap bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let the cookies set on the pan for 2-3 minutes before removing them and allowing them to cool on a cooling rack.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • ½ cup cocoa powder
    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
    • ⅔ cup brown sugar
    • ⅓ cup sugar
    • ⅓ cup chocolate chips (melted)
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup mini baking M&M's
