These Christmas Cake Mix Bars are so easy to make and one of my favorite treats. You just need a box of cake mix and 5 more ingredients mixed up and baked.
Cake mix treats are the best. They are so easy to make and they taste amazing. For this recipe, I used a box of yellow cake mix with a few other ingredients and added chocolate chips and Christma M&Ms to make it festive.
How to make Christmas Cake Mix Bars:
Step one: Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Then prepare a 9×13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray then set aside.
Step two: Next mix together cake mix, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Once mixed fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup baking M&Ms.
- Tip: Change up the recipe by using different cake mix flavors like chocolate or red velvet.
Step three: Spread dough into your prepared dish then top with the remaining cup chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Step four: Bake for 20-25 minutes then allow to cool completely. Slice into squares and then serve.
