How to make a Mango Pineapple Smoothie:
One thing about smoothies is that they are super easy to make.
Just throw everything into your blender and blend it up!
Pour it into a glass or cup and enjoy! See, super easy to make.
Ingredient Notes:
- Frozen or Fresh Mango Chunks
- Frozen or Fresh Pineapple Chunks
- Yogurt (Vanilla or Plain) – I used Vanilla Yogurt for this as it was what I had on hand.
- Milk – I used skim milk for this. Use more or less depending on the consistency of smoothie you desire.
- Honey – I use this for a little more sweetener in it. You can omit this if you choose because the mango and pineapples will sweeten the smoothie.
Directions:
Step One – Add all ingredients into a blender in the order that they are listed.
Step Two – Blend until smooth. Add more milk as needed to get the smoothie texture you desire.
This smoothie is a great healthy breakfast or snack:
- This recipe is super easy to make! With only five ingredients needed all you have to do is add everything in a blender and blend it all up! Once it is smooth enjoy!
- You can use fresh mangoes or pineapple if you want! Fresh mangoes are perfect in this instead of frozen if you have them available and in season. A fresh pineapple also works great!
- Enjoy any time of year! With using frozen fruit, you can enjoy this smoothie whenever!
Make it a dessert!
Replace the yogurt with vanilla ice cream and make it a shake!
Can you store a smoothie for later?
I typically do not recommend saving smoothies for a later time. Storing them in the refrigerator will make them become “runny” or “watery.”
Storing them in the freezer will make them too icy when thawed. If you must save some for later the freezer is probably the better option.
