The BEST way to have chicken. These Pizza Stuffed Chicken breasts are filled with and topped with all your favorite pizza ingredients.

Pizza Stuffed Chicken in a casserole dish

When you have chicken breast on the menu a lot each week finding fun new ways to dress it up is a must. This Pizza Stuffed Chicken recipe has all the best flavors of pizza and way fewer carbs. I love how simple it is to make.

How to make Pizza Stuffed Chicken:

Step one: Get started by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F. Then prepare a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.

Step two: Flatten chicken as needed to make them all even in sizing. Slice a pocket into the side of the chicken.

    • Pro Tip: When cutting a pocket into your chicken for the stuffing you want to make sure it's just large enough to fit the ingredients without cutting it to big or all the way through the chicken. Once you flatten the chicken to be even start cutting at the top more meaty part of the chicken and just use the tip of the knife to make a slit. You can use your fingers to slowly pull part to widen the pocket as needed. Then place chicken in the casserole dish and wash hands before handling more ingredients.

Step three: Next fill each of your chicken breasts with ¼ a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 2-3 slices of pepperoni. Then place your stuffed chicken into your prepared casserole dish.

Step four: Once all your chicken is stuffed and in your casserole dish go ahead and pour all pizza sauce over the chicken. Last top chicken breast with remaining shredded cheese, sliced pepperoni, and basil.

    How to Flatten/Beat Chicken:

To ensure that all my chicken breast cook evenly I like to flatten them just enough to be even for this recipe. To do this place your chicken breast in a large gallon size baggie. Use a rolling pin or meat mallet to beat and chicken. I usually just do one breast at a time and make sure to get all the air out of the bag as possible to avoid any splattering.
