How to make Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops:
Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops is a very easy recipe to make in the slow cooker. You mix your soup mix together and then place your pork chops in the slow cooker.
Cover or smother the pork chops with the soup mixture and then cook. The slow cooker will do all the work for you. Serve on top of Mashed Potatoes when done

Ingredient Notes:
- Boneless Pork Chops – you can trim off the fat layer before putting them in the slow cooker, if you prefer.
- Cream of Soup – I used 1 can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom but you can use 2 of the same kind or even use cream of celery. Depending on what you like best.
- Broth – You can use Chicken, Beef, or Vegetable Broth for this recipe.
- Seasoning – For our seasoning I used 1 packet of Onion Soup Mix and 1 packet of Pork Gravy Mix. You can skip the packets if you would rather season this yourself.

Directions:
Step One – Place pork chops into your slow cooker.
Step Two – In a separate bowl mix together cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, broth, onion soup mix, and pork gravy mix.

Step Three – Pour soup mixture over your pork chops.
Then place the slow cooker lid on.

Step Four – Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until pork is cooked through.

I made this today. Used 2 cans of mushroom cream as i didn’t find cream of chicken. It was delicious . Slightly salty for our taste. Next time ill use low sodium ingredients.
Thanks Angelique!
Could I do 3 hours on high?
You could but I think cooking these on high make them a little dry.
Can I put the pork chops in frozen in the crockpot or do they need to be thawed ?
I cook mine thawed.
I would love to try this recipe, but that’s an obscene amount of sodium. I have Congested heart failure and have to limit my sodium intake, do you have any recipes with less sodium?
They have low sodium cream of soups but I would suggest making your own.
