How to make Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops:

Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops is a very easy recipe to make in the slow cooker. You mix your soup mix together and then place your pork chops in the slow cooker.

Cover or smother the pork chops with the soup mixture and then cook. The slow cooker will do all the work for you. Serve on top of Mashed Potatoes when done

ingredients for the smothered pork chops.

Ingredient Notes:

  • Boneless Pork Chops – you can trim off the fat layer before putting them in the slow cooker, if you prefer.
  • Cream of Soup – I used 1 can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom but you can use 2 of the same kind or even use cream of celery. Depending on what you like best.
  • Broth – You can use Chicken, Beef, or Vegetable Broth for this recipe.
  • Seasoning – For our seasoning I used 1 packet of Onion Soup Mix and 1 packet of Pork Gravy Mix. You can skip the packets if you would rather season this yourself.

  1. I made this for dinner a couple of nights ago. The flavor was so good and the chops were really tender. I’ll definitely add this one to our dinner rotation.

  2. i just have a question!!y crockpot has self timers and only does low for 8 hours, will that ruin the recipe?

    1. 8 hours maybe to much. It you don’t another option I would make sure to buy really large cut pork chops and maybe add a little more broth.
