These Air Fryer Green Beans a simple yet classic side dish that go great with poultry, beef or pork. Easy to make and only seasoned with salt and pepper, the air fryer makes these nice and crispy.
Dinner needs to have a good side dish. Vegetables, potatoes, or rice are common side dishes in many houses. I make green beans pretty frequently. My Skillet Green Beans and my recipe for the Best Green Beans are weekly side dishes I make. Well as with a lot of my vegetable recipes lately, I had to come and make some green beans in the air fryer. They turned our great and were super easy to make!
How to make Air Fryer Green Beans:
As I have been sharing and saying lately, everything in the Air Fryer is just easier! You know I love easy meals like Slow Cooker Meals or One Pot Meals. Well, these Air Fryer Green Beans may be the easiest side dish to make in the air fryer. Wash and pat dry your green beans. Spritz them with the oil and shake the salt and pepper on them tossing lightly. Put them in the air fryer and then cook them.
Ingredient Notes:
- Fresh Green Beans
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions:
Step One – Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees F.
- Tip: To preheat an air fryer, turn it on and cook for 5-10 minutes.
Step Two – Wash and dry green beans then trim and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Tip: To trim the green beans get a pair of vegetable scissors and snip the ends off.
Step Three – Drizzle green beans with oil and toss to coat. Add in salt and pepper and toss again to coat.
Step Four – Place your green beans into your air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 6-8 minutes until cooked to your preferred tenderness.
Can I use frozen green beans for this recipe?
Yes, you can use frozen green beans. You want to want to cook your frozen green beans in the air fryer for 5 minutes when frozen. Take them out, shake the basket to mix them up, and drain an excess water in the air fryer.
If still frozen cook for another 3-5 minutes. Once thawed and mostly cooked, take the green beans out and then mix in your oil and seasonings and cook again for 3-5 minutes until fully cooked and they are the desired tenderness.

This recipe is so easy to make, and it goes great with any meal you make. I serve green beans often and now I can make them really quick in the air fryer. Try some of the recipes for dinner to go along with the green beans.
