Family Pizza Night:
Each Friday night we have a game night here. My kids look forward to it all week! We usually serve pizza and we always have ice cream and lots and lots of laughs.
I love making family memories like these. Enjoying every minute while they are still little and think hanging with mom and dad is cool.
This Philly Cheese Steak French Bread Pizza is one of my favorites to serve! Making french bread pizza is so simple and I can let everyone create and make thier favorite type.
This Philly Cheese Steak French Bread Pizza is loaded with sliced steak, peppers, and onions then topped with cheese. It’s my husbands favorite for pizza night!
How to make Philly Cheese Steak French Bread Pizza:
Step one: Start by preparing your steak. Over medium heat oil in a frying pan. Season steak with salt and pepper. I used 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper. You can add more or less to taste.
- Tip: For this recipe, you can use any thinly sliced steak that you enjoy. I used a top round steak.
Once seasoned then add steak to your warm frying pan and cook on medium heat for about 2 minutes on each side or until steak is cooked.
Step two: Once the steak is done then remove it from the frying pan and set aside. In the same pan over medium heat add butter and melt.
Add in sliced peppers and onions and cook until tender. Once done remove from heat.
Step three: Now that your pizza is ready to assemble you can preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Next prepare a baking sheet with foil or nonstick cooking spray.
Slice french bread in half and place on your prepared baking sheet. Spread mayonnaise evenly on each side half.
Step four: Slice steak and place it on your bread along with your cooked peppers and onions. Top both halves evenly with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven then slice and serve.
