Marinated then baked, these Greek Chicken Drumsticks are so full of flavor and a simple dinner idea the entire family will love. My recipe for a classic Chicken Drumstick Recipe is a staple in our house along with my personal favorite Baked BBQ Chicken Drumsticks.

    Greek Chicken Drumsticks

We eat chicken a lot in my house. It's simple to make and pretty inexpensive. I can almost always find some chicken drumsticks on sale and love trying new ways to season and serve them.

These Greek Chicken Drumsticks are my favorite way to season drumsticks! I actually used the same marinade seasoning to season diced potatoes, bell peppers, and Brussel sprouts then roasted them in the oven.

    Chicken Drumsticks Marinade:

    • Oil
    • Lemon juice
    • Rosemary
    • Oregano
    • Dill
    • Salt and pepper
    • Garlic powder

    Greek Chicken Drumsticks Directions:

First, you want to start my marinating your chicken. To do this add chicken drumsticks into a large freezer bag.

Once your chicken is in your bag then pour your oil, lemon juice, and seasonings into a freezer bag with chicken. Marinate overnight for best results or cook immediately. I have done both with this chicken and when in a hurry I cooked it right away and it tasted great.

Once your chicken is ready to be baked you can go ahead and preheat your oven. Prepare a dish with aluminum foil or with nonstick cooking spray. Pour chicken into the dish and bake until fully cooked. Time will vary deepening on the size of your chicken.

When is a Chicken Drumstick Cooked:

To make sure that your chicken drumstick is cooked you will want to use a meat thermometer. Your chicken should be at least 165 degrees F to be considered fully cooked. I prefer my chicken drumsticks nice and crispy and cook it until 180 degrees F.

    Side Dish Recipes:

Here are a few of my favorite things to serve with these chicken drumsticks.

    • Parmesan Garlic Skillet Green Beans
    • Roasted Sweet Potatoes
    • Roasted Brussel Sprouts
    • Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole
    • Roasted Ranch Potatoes
