I love simple sliders for an easy weeknight dinner and it's my kid's favorites.

If your family loves sliders as much as we do then make sure to check out even more of my slider recipes like these Easy Italian Sliders or our Ham and Swiss Sliders.

Cut of Meat for Pulled Pork

For this recipe I like to use boneless pork shoulder or pork butt. Fat is always good for a pork roast to help it be tender and juicy. A pork shoulder or butt marbled with pork is the best options.

    Directions

Step one: Place your pork in the slow cooker. Then add all the seasoning and rub your boneless pork shoulder with the seasonings.

    adding seasoning to the pork

Step two: Next add ½ cup broth to the bottom of your slow cooker.

Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until pork is tender and falling apart.

Mine took closer to 10 hours and it came out perfect.

    • Tip: When pouring in the broth make sure to pour around the pork and not directly over it. This will help keep the seasoning on the pork and not in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Step three: Once your pork is fully cooked then shred it and add in your favorite bbq sauce and mix well.

Serving size will depend on how much meat you put on each slider but we got 20 good size sliders from this recipe.

    Serving Options:

I served this with a baked potato and salad. Here are a few more of my favorite side dish recipes to serve with these sliders.

    • Roasted Broccoli
    • Classic Potato Salad
    • Slow Cooker Cream Corn
    • Italian Spaghetti Pasta Salad
