My new favorite way to make spaghetti, Taco Spaghetti! A Spaghetti casserole filled with those flavors you love from tacos. Taco seasoning, tomatoes, onions, all mixed in with noodles and Mexican Cheese this easy dinner recipe is going to be something you want on your menu plan soon!
Spaghetti is a staple in my house. This easy Taco Spaghetti has only a few simple ingredients, but has a big taste that you are going to love!
This recipe is a great alternative to normal Spaghetti. You all know I love tacos, and adding the flavors of tacos to a spaghetti casserole like this is a nice change from regular spaghetti dinner.
How to make Taco Spaghetti:
First cook your ground beef and spaghetti. Once the beef and spaghetti are done mix all remaining ingredients together except the cheese and then add to a casserole baking dish. Top with the shredded cheese and bake until the cheese is melted.
Ingredients:
- Ground Beef
- Spaghetti
- Olive Oil
- White Onion (diced)
- Garlic (minced)
- Taco Seasoning
- Rotel
- Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese
- Cilantro (chopped)
Directions:
Step One - Heat oil in a skillet then add diced onion and minced garlic. Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes then add ground beef. Season with taco seasoning and cook ground beef until browned.
Step Two - In a separate pot cook spaghetti according to the package directions. When fully cooked drain and return to the pot.
Step Three - Add seasoned ground beef and Rotel to spaghetti and mix together well.
Step Four - Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step Five - Add spaghetti to a casserole dish. Top with cheese and place in the oven for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with cilantro and serve!
Step Six - Once baked top with cilantro and serve!
Top this with more taco toppings!
I love to serve this with all the fixings that I would use in tacos. Top with sour cream, salsa, more cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos or guacamole and enjoy.
I love this with just sour cream, but my family loves to add these other items.
Make this a one pot meal!
You all know I love easy meals with easy clean up. So this recipe can be made all in one pot. Here is how you can do that.
- Cook your spaghetti in the pot first. Once it is done drain it and set aside
- In the same pot cook your ground beef. Once that is done add all remaining ingredients except the cheese and cook for about 5-10 minutes until everything is hot.
- Add in the cheese and mix up, or just leave it on the top. Once it's melted serve it up!
