The perfect simple dinner recipe! This Pasta Bake is a favorite with my family and it’s so simple to make.
Ground Beef Pasta Bake:
You all know how much I love a simple dinner recipe. Plus if it’s one that my entire family will eat I love it even more.
This Pasta Bake is just that. Simple to make and loved my the entire family. I love serving it with a salad, garlic green beans, and homemade garlic bread.
How to make Pasta Bake:
Step one: Get started by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F and prepare dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Tip: I used a 9×13 glass casserole dish for this recipe.
Step two: Next cook your pasta accoring to package directions. Once it’s cooked drain the water and then retuen to pot over low heat. Add cream cheese to the pasta and allow to cook slowly mixing constantly until cream cheese is melted and coated on noodles. Remove from heat.
- Tip: I like to remove my pasta just before it’s done. This way it does not overcook in the oven.
Step three: Cook and crumble ground beef then drain fat. Add in marinara sauce and mix well.
Step four: Now you can add the marinara sauce and beef to the cooked pasta along with 1 cup of shredded mozzeralla cheese.
Step five: Last mix together all ingrednets well then place in your prepared casserole dish. Top pasta with reamaing 1 cup of shredded mozzeralla cheese. Sprinkle on basil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
How to freeze pasta bake:
When you plan on freezing a meal I would suggest baking this recipe in a freezer safe dish. You could also add leftover to a freezer safe dish after cooking and serving if you want to freeze leftovers.
Start by allowing your pasta bake to cool completly. Cover your your freezer safe dish with foil or the lid. Freeze for up to 3 months.
How to defrost and reheat:
- Defrost: Place in the fridge overnight to defrost.
- Reheat: Cover and place in the oven at 400 for 10-15 minutes or until warm thoughout.
