How to make Butter Parmesan Pasta:

Butter Parmesan Pasta is something I created as a simple and quick meal for my kids. They love their noodles, peas and corn so I put it all together with parmesan cheese! This has become a big hit for them and they love it. I am sure you littles will love it too!

    Ingredients:

    • Elbow Macaroni
    • Butter (diced)
    • Corn (canned or frozen)
    • Peas (canned or frozen)
    • Grated Parmesan Cheese

    Directions:

Step one: Cook elbow macaroni according to directions then drain and return to pot over low heat.

noodles cooked in pot and drained

Step two: To your pasta add in the butter, corn, and peas.

Step three: Cook on low until butter is melted.

Step four: Add grated parmesan cheese and mix until everything is coated.

That's it! Now it's just time to serve and enjoy!

    Can I use frozen veggies:

For this recipe I used canned veggies but frozen can be used also. Just prepare and drain first before adding them to the pasta.

Here are a few more of my kid's favorite recipes:

Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese: Mac and cheese is a classic! My kids love it and making it in the slow cooker is my all-time favorite.

Baked Ranch Chicken Tenders: My kids love chicken tenders. These have ranch seasoning baked in and we even love dipping them in ranch dressing.

Sloppy Joe Casserole: Sloppy joes was a favorite of mine as a kid and this casserole brings back so many memories for me.

Can you use frozen veggies? If so would you put them in frozen or already cooked or thawed?

Just curious, have you ever used grated cheddar rather than Parmesan?
