Slow Cooker Fried Apples
Ingredients
- 3 pounds honey crisp apples, (peeled and sliced)
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, (melted)
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Add apples to the slow cooker and all remaining ingredients. Mix well until all apples are coated.
- Cook covered for 2 hours on high or until apples are tender.

Hi I just tried your recipe for your fried apples. They are as you said they are tender. But mine won’t brown like it showed on the picture. I followed everything to the t. But they won’t brown what did I do wrong
Hmm I am not sure Lisa. I think the brown sugar and ground cinnamon help add to the browning, did you maybe add less?
