I love a recipe with a kick. These Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joes are so simple to make and full of flavor. I topped them with ranch dressing and served them on a bun. Plus this recipe can be made in 30 minutes or less.

I love bufflao sauce and this recipe is one of my favorites. This recipe is simple and made with a homemade buffalo sauce that really kicks up the flavor.

How to make Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joes:

Step one: Start by preparing buffalo sauce. In a saucepan melt butter then mix in Franks Red Hot sauce. Whisk until combined and then set aside.

pouring buffalo sauce into the butter

Step two: In a skillet cook and crumble ground chicken. Once cooked add in prepared buffalo and dry ranch seasoning. Mix until well combined. Serve on a bun with ranch dressing.

    I can't find Ground Chicken:

I know finding ground chicken can be difficult for people like me who live in a small town with just 1-2 grocery store options. I tested this recipe with both ground chicken and then ground turkey. While I love the flavor the chicken gives this the turkey also taste amazing and can be easily substituted.

    Serving options:

Here are a few of my favorite recipes to serve this dinner recipe with.

    • Slow Cooker Parmesan Garlic Potatoes: My favorite way to make potatoes in the slow cooker. I used baby potatoes sliced in half and they come out perfectly.
    • Roasted Vegetables: I roasted a medley of different veggies that are seasoned perfectly.
    • Classic Coleslaw: This simple recipe for coleslaw is the perfect side to help with the heat and spice from this recipe.

    Buffalo Chicken Recipes:

You know by now how much I LOVE buffalo chicken. Here are a few more of my favorites:

      • Buffalo Chicken Dip
      • Buffalo Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
      • Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels
      • Buffalo Chicken Tenders
      • Buffalo Chicken Soup

I have had a lot of success grinding my own chicken. I just pulse it in the food processor until it’s the consistency I’m after. I make chicken burgers that way a lot. Thanks for the great recipe! Great weeknight dinner 🙂
