We serve chicken a lot in my house and eat t probably 4-5 times a week. Rather for lunch for dinner this All Purpose Slow Cooker Chicken is so the perfect idea for quick meal ideas. And if we aren’t slow cooking chicken I’m usually making baked bbq chicken drumsticks. Either way, we love chicken so I got out both my slow cookers and cooked a ton of chicken and was able to add it to salads and wraps for lunch, even had bites of it for a snack, and then toss it into casseroles, tacos, or soups for dinner. It cut my prep time in half and made thinking of meals so much easier.
All-Purpose Slow Cooker Chicken Instructions:
This recipe is pretty simple. My husband even snacked on some and said he thought it tasted great as is! All you need is chicken boneless and skinless chicken breast, chicken broth, and seasoning. You can season it any way you like I just use salt and pepper so I can flavor later to go with any meal. I also sometimes like to use seasoning salt. It gives it that extra flavor for salads and eating plain but not too much that I can’t turn it into something else.

- 1 pound Chicken breast (skinless and boneless)
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place chicken in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper then pour in chicken broth.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours. I used thawed chicken, add more time for frozen chicken.
Use two forks to shred. Add to dishes or allow to cool and store in the fridge in an airtight container.
